Cancellation Policy
This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling an order with Proresumes. We aim to be as flexible as possible while accounting for the resources allocated to each custom project.
1. How to Request a Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order, you must contact our customer support team immediately after placing your order. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
Please send your request to support@proresumes.net with the subject line "Order Cancellation Request" and include your full name and order number.
2. Cancellation Timeframes and Conditions
Our ability to process a cancellation and any potential refund depends on the status of your order at the time we receive your request.
A. Cancellation Before Work Commencement
You may receive a full refund if your cancellation request is received before any work has commenced on your order. "Work commencement" is defined as the point at which a writer has been assigned to your order and has begun the initial review, research, or drafting process.
- We strive to assign orders to writers as quickly as possible to meet our delivery timelines. Therefore, we urge you to make any cancellation decisions promptly.
- If your cancellation is approved before work begins, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
B. Cancellation After Work Commencement
Once work has commenced on your order, it can no longer be cancelled, and a refund will generally not be possible.
This is because our service is the creation of a personalized product, and resources (including our writers' valuable time and expertise) are immediately allocated to your project. At this stage, we have already incurred costs and committed resources to fulfilling your order.
If you are unhappy with the direction of the work, we encourage you to engage with our revision process as outlined in our Refund Policy to ensure the final product meets your satisfaction.
3. Refund Processing for Approved Cancellations
For all cancellations that are approved for a refund, the amount will be credited to your original form of payment within 5-7 business days from the time you receive a cancellation confirmation email from our team.
4. Discretionary Decisions
In some exceptional cases, a partial refund may be offered for a cancellation request received shortly after work has begun. This is determined on a case-by-case basis and is at the sole discretion of Proresumes management.
